The results found some interesting results. The brain was most active on the right side of the brain during instances where a photo of a loved one was viewed. The right side of the brain controls romantic emotions. During instances where attractive photos were viewed, the left side of the brain became more active. The left side of the brain is responsible for sexual urges. Although it may be difficult for you to get a brain scan to determine if you’re really going through love or lust with your love match, you can rest assured – there is a difference.
